Purpose & community values

Cure.Care exists to make trustworthy healthcare education accessible to everyone. Where readers can interact — through comments, feedback, contributions or other community features — these guidelines help keep those spaces safe, respectful and useful.

Our community is guided by a few simple values: be respectful, be honest, protect others' safety and privacy, and help keep health information accurate.

The golden rule: treat others as you'd want to be treated, and never share anything that could mislead or harm someone's health.

Who these guidelines apply to

These guidelines apply to everyone who participates in the Cure.Care community, in any interactive space we may offer.

  • Readers leaving comments or feedback
  • Anyone submitting questions, suggestions or contributions
  • Participants in any community or discussion features
  • Anyone interacting with us on official Cure.Care channels

By participating, you agree to follow these guidelines alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Expected behaviour

We want every interaction to be constructive and kind. We ask all community members to:

Be respectful

Engage with empathy and courtesy, even when you disagree.

Be honest

Share genuine experiences and accurate information, not rumours.

Be constructive

Add value, ask thoughtful questions and help others learn.

Be considerate

Remember that real people — often unwell or worried — are reading.

Health content rules

Because Cure.Care is a healthcare platform, conversations about health carry extra responsibility. When discussing health topics, please remember:

  • Personal experiences are welcome — but they are not medical advice
  • Do not diagnose others or tell them to start, stop or change treatment
  • Do not present personal opinion as established medical fact
  • Always encourage others to consult a qualified healthcare professional

Reminder: content shared in the community is general information only. It is never a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. See our Medical Disclaimer.

No medical misinformation

Health misinformation can cause real harm. To protect our community, the following are not allowed:

  • False, misleading or unproven medical claims
  • Dangerous "cures," treatments or remedies presented as fact
  • Content that discourages people from seeking professional care
  • Misrepresenting scientific evidence or medical consensus
  • Promoting products as treatments for serious conditions

Safety comes before opinion

We may remove content that could mislead readers about their health — even when shared in good faith. This isn't censorship; it's protecting people who come here for trustworthy information.

Prohibited conduct

To keep the community safe and welcoming, the following are not permitted:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats or personal attacks
  • Hate speech or discrimination of any kind
  • Sexually explicit, violent or otherwise harmful content
  • Impersonating others or misrepresenting your identity or credentials
  • Sharing illegal content or encouraging illegal activity
  • Content that exploits, endangers or sexualises minors

Zero tolerance: content that endangers children or incites violence is removed immediately and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Privacy & personal information

Health is deeply personal. Please protect your own privacy and everyone else's.

  • Do not share other people's private or medical information
  • Be cautious about posting your own sensitive health details publicly
  • Do not request private medical information from other members
  • Never share contact details, addresses or identifying data of others

Learn more about how we handle data in our Privacy Policy.

Spam, self-promotion & commercial activity

Community spaces are for genuine, helpful conversation — not advertising. The following are not allowed:

  • Spam, repetitive posting or irrelevant links
  • Unsolicited advertising or aggressive self-promotion
  • Pyramid schemes, scams or deceptive commercial offers
  • Selling or promoting unproven health products or services

Sharing helpful resources

Linking to a genuinely useful, credible resource is fine. Posting purely to drive traffic, sell something or promote yourself is not.

Intellectual property & attribution

Respect the rights of creators and publishers when contributing to the community.

  • Only share content you have the right to share
  • Do not post copyrighted material without permission
  • Give credit and cite credible sources where appropriate
  • Do not plagiarise the work of others

Reporting & moderation

Keeping the community safe is a shared effort. If you see something that breaks these guidelines, please let us know.

  • Report harmful, unsafe or inappropriate content to our team
  • We review reports and may remove content or restrict accounts
  • We may moderate content proactively to protect the community
  • Genuine reports directly help keep everyone safer

How to report

You can reach us any time through our Contact page. Please include enough detail for us to find and review the content.

Enforcement & consequences

We aim to be fair and proportionate. Depending on the situation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Editing or removing content that breaks these guidelines
  • Issuing a warning to a community member
  • Temporarily or permanently restricting participation
  • Reporting serious or illegal activity to the appropriate authorities

Cure.Care reserves the right to moderate the community at its discretion to protect reader safety and trust. These guidelines may be updated from time to time, and the latest version will always be available on this page.

A community built on care

Thank you for helping keep Cure.Care a respectful, safe and trustworthy place to learn about health. Together, we can make reliable healthcare information accessible to everyone — in India and worldwide.
